Jumping and landing techniques to master proper sending styles
Interactive MTB toys and skill challenges
Dates:
Saturday, January 10 – April 4, 2026 (11 weeks)
Location:
Queensmount Arena, Kitchener (Westmount Rd & Queen's Blvd)
Programs:
Session #1: Beginner Session with Coach Andrea - 9:20am - 10:25am
Perfect for newer riders, this session builds confidence while practicing hand-eye coordination and following instructions. On our beginner circuit, participants ride over the KWCA Bridge, tackle Novice Skinnies, weave around pylons, practice straight-line riding and cornering, stop in a box, and roll over rollers. Balance bikes are welcome!
Session #2: Novice/Intermediate MTB Riders (Youth and Adults) - 10:30am - 11:35am
For riders with some experience, this session helps improve MTB skills and confidence on obstacles. The multi-station circuit includes skinnies, jumps, rollers, rock gardens, bridges, and teeter-totters. Riders will practice ready position, front wheel lifts, hopping, and stand-stills (balancing).
Session #3: Intermediate/Advanced/Performance Riders (Youth and Adults) - 11:40am - 12:40pm
Riders who can confidently and independently ride all features. Minimal instruction is provided, allowing participants to refine advanced techniques. Riders will practice proper sending styles on the Air Lander and explore many more challenging features.
