Wednesday evening: Zwift & Core - "Shorter - Harder"
KW Cycling Academy is excited to offer our families the "Shorter - Harder" with Coach Chris. The first 30 minutes is a structured workout designed for mountain bike racing. Athletes who attend this session will be challenged with building strength on the bike in mind. Coach Chris is riding along and encouraging you to hit your marks. This virtual session uses Zwift for the Cycling workout.
The second half of the "Hour of Power" is a full body workout designed to give you core strength and stability to handle the rigors of MTB training.
After the bike we start with a brief dynamic stretch. The main workout is designed as four separate exercise blocks. Each block consists of 5 exercises performed at your limit, targeting a different muscle group. Sweaty and tired, we close the night by some deep stretches.
