KW Cycling Academy 2022 Family Bursary
Congratulations… an athlete in your family will be awarded part of the 2022 Bursary!!
The KWCA Bursary!
KW Cycling Academy works hard behind the scenes to make Youth Cycling as inclusive and affordable as possible. We have been around long enough to witness the costs for High Performance athlete families go through the roof. Our programs are aimed at getting all Junior athletes to JR Worlds if they are interested in competing at that level.
Where the Bursary started:
10 plus years ago, we began doing community fundraisers to build a fund that can be used to help offset a portion of the cost of registration for High-level competitions - Provincial, National & International Championship events. There has been money every year for our families.
2022 Bursary Fundraising:
In 2022, we did 5x 50/50 draws by selling tickets at Delaware Speedway, with the draw winner taking home 50% of the revenue, KWCA taking 50% of the funds. KWCA racer families volunteered to sell tickets, we sold out all 5 dates.
This year, we are pleased to offer $6,100.00 in Bursaries to 44 KW Cycling Academy athletes. A new record for KW Cycling! The 2022 Bursary covers all disciplines: MTB, Road, Track, Cyclocross and Down Hill.
How do I receive my Bursary?
Bursaries are applied to your 2023 KW Cycling Club membership. There will be another email with your family's personal “Discount Code” for CCN 2023 KW Cycling Academy Team Membership.
Thank You again for supporting KW Cycling Academy Bursary fundraising events in 2022.
As always, any questions please call anytime.
Yours in Sport
