KW Cycling Academy 2023 Programs

KWCA Programs 2023 (Age is a guideline only)

KWCA 2023 MTB School Program

New for 2023, the KW Cycling Academy - MTB School Program which takes our Young MTB riders through 4 different skill levels from absolute beginner to experienced trail shredder. The program covers everything from learning to mount the bicycle, starting to pedal and stopping your bicycle to approaching large obstacles with confidence and introduction to competition. Special development projects for technical skills lead by experienced mountain bike coaches compliment the weekly rides lead by our own highly-trained KWCA Ride Leaders and coaches with provincial, national and international certifications in cycling and mountain biking instruction.

Our riders young and old learn to ride in groups at similar ability levels to create the optimal environment for a fun and challenging path to quick progression at their own pace. The selection for the right group is made through a special assessment event that puts the fitness and ability of each rider to the test (assessment days for new riders will be announced separately in our team calendar).
